Spooky

Another "draw while the song's still playing" pic.
The song: "Spooky", by Classics IV, about the coy girl who "always keeps [him] guessing."

This is pretty hilarious!--you've captured the song. I can imagine her opening and closing her eyes and swaying her head to the muzak ... and the question marks going round and fading in and out. Namowal, let's do some music videos in Flash.

Nice one. Are you doing this on canvas level in Painter? It looks so fluid.

What a prick-teaser!

Hi Linda,
Music videos in Flash sounds fun! I have a few ideas floating in my head. It'd be fun to do one fully synchronized to a song, but I may have to settle for a simple loop until I catch more time. I'd like to see any videos that you do.

Thanks, Sally,
First I put the gradient background on the canvas, then I work one level up. More out of habit. Next time I'll try it on the canvas.

Gorilla,
I've always wondered why the protagonist in the song thinks Spooky's behavior is so cute.

That song is fun, and so is the illustration! I must get to work in Painter... have to get the feel of it first so the three-minute timer doesn't just freak me out.

Thanks, Stray g.
Don't let the time limit freak you out- I tell myself that if the picture isn't good (which does happen), I don't have to post it. :)

What if we all chose the same song to do a music video? No, I guess it would be more fun if we chose different songs. We could give ourselves a deadline, nothing too soon. And it could just be a piece of a song ... And the deadline could be in 5 years...

I like the idea of a group artwork. Same song might be fun. Either way.
I'll do whatever you guys say....

Grand idea, stray g.
How should we pick the song? :D
