Are You Dreaming? part I

Ever been in a bizarro dream, wondered if you were, in fact dreaming...
...and concluded that you weren't?
I do this.

Your illustrations are really cracking me up.

Thanks, Linda. Would this have something to do with the fact that the illustration is cracked?

me too. and what I hate about those dreams is when you spot something in dreamland that proves it's not a dream. "This can't be a dream because there's the refrigerator I always drive to work in."

exactly! That's dream logic for you.

I woke up the other day and I was convinced that I had been in a theme park in Africa with real dinosaurs AND african mammals. Convinced! I knew it had to be real because I was in the jeep with cheetahs running by and a TRex plodding near. I /knew/ it had to be real - and not a dream.

Thought I'd share!

I once had a dream that I was in the movie Deliverance and was being hunted in the forest by a band of hillbillies with shot guns, and they were shooting at me. When I woke up, my heart was racing and I was covered in sweat. It took several seconds for me to realize that I wasn't actually in danger.

Dreams are weird.

Wow Billsey,
Cheetahs and T-Rexes? If your dream was on eBay I'd bid on it!

Hi Jonathan,
It doesn't matter how absurd a dream is, if it scares you bad enough, theres a second or two before the "It was a dream! Calm down!" lightbulb flicks on.
