I designed and animated him after, the toucan, so I learned some pitfalls to avoid - both technical and artistic. For example, the parakeet was designed so his whole body could react, while Terrance (the big guy) only moves his head and neck. It's funny. I typically learn new skills by learning what not to do first.

namowal, the parakeet is the stronger character in this sketch-- not sure why-- you may need to break the 2-d plane with your main speaker.
