I found a cool website called Illustration Friday.
Each week it introduces a new theme and invites artists to submit their interpretations.
The theme for this week is "Bottled."
Oh Namowal! When I first saw this, I thought, "I must have that bottle!" I thought the little guy was meant to be painted ON the bottle. But if he is "bottled"--meaning if he is supposed to be inside the bottle-- it might fun to have those nice highlights going over on top of him so that he's obscured a little where they fall (???) Love his crazy eyes, and I love the whole idea behind Illustration Friday.
Thanks, and good catch, Linda. The upper left highlights are supposed to be the ones in front, but as you pointed out, it would anchor the little guy inside if I'd made sure they fell in front of him. Ah well, next time I draw something in a bottle, I'll be ready. :)
