hey it's not derivative but you may not need the words on top. It's obiously going to be fun. On other hand, maybe that's a defined concept in what you're doing. I think your internal censor is turned on too often, forget what name you gave her on your blog. Keep creating!
Hi Sally, Stray,Thanks for the encouragement!
I'm seriously looking forward to the finished product!
I like it!A very fun house indeed :)
I really and truly agree with Sally re: the words. I do stuff like that on first draft, too, but when I lose them, the artwork has room to deliver the message all by itself. (I do the same thing with lots of 'realistic details' - it's so strange how unnecessary they are AND how I still do it. :):))Are you working on this with 'realistic dimensions?' Just for an exercise, it might be fun to warp the house (vs. having sides at equal heights and straight up and down.) I guess that's quite a bit harder to do squash and stretch with, but still fun!! You're really collecting some very playful pieces!!
Thanks, RHSteeleOH and Walterworld. And thanks for the suggestionsm boodababy. Funny you should ask about the symmetry of the building- the only other one I've put in the cartoon (so far) looks much stranger.
Love elastic buildings!
Where have I been? I love this, love this, love this! (I'm repeating that every time it squashes down.)
Thanks, Ghostbuild and Linda.I had to experiment to get the bounce the way I wanted.
I would go in there expecting to have FUN!
Thanks, Mean Jean :D
