Hi Sally,
Do you mean beware Gradients in Flash (because that makes it cranky?). Don't get me started on the time/money I spent getting that silly program to cooperate (it's still on strike).
I figured I'd complained enough on the blog, so I drew a penguin in Corel Painter and posted that instead.

I thought I remembered gradients in Flash causing somebody big trouble, just thought I'd mention it. Your problem sounds so mean- at least you have those files saved as separate unit files.

I think the problem might be a perfect storm- a mix of

+cranky software (flash)
+creaky random access memory (even when Flash was working it took my machine several minutes to launch it)
+an older machine that's gotten a lot of use


It's also funny you mentioned gradients because I've been trying to do my Painter illustrations without them, as a challenge.
