Omi Project: Gato Neko

Here's my contribution to the Omi Project.
Here's how it works- you buy the plastic figure, decorate it any way you wish, and send it in to be part of the display.
I picked a look that's 40% Japanese Daruma Doll 50% Mexican Folk art  and 10% Louis Wain.

I found it tricky because I'm used to digital artwork (where's the undo button?) and my hand has never been that steady.

Great colors and great expression. What a nice idea for a contest.

Hi Linda,
I should have clarified that it's more of a display than a contest. They give you the option of having it mailed back or allowing them to sell it at the shop (they keep half, you keep half).
I'm not sure what I want to do with it.

Sounds like a fun contest. I love your entry. You're so great with expressions!

This is a neat idea, thanks for telling us! Going to pick up two and see what my muse says.

Pile Girl,
Thanks! I'm not sure where I lifted that "I may be up to no good" expression, but I've used it for some time.

GhostBuild,
Are you really going to get some of those things? And send them in?

Heard Yuki Shimizu speak, and she discussed working on this painted ceramic bunny project:

Thanks, stray. Are you going to try this? There's still time left (but I know you're a busy gal!)

p.s. Thanks for the link!
