Thanks Linda, I actually used my so-so grasp of animation principles to pose the banjo character: Okay, if he's swinging this way then his arm would probably be swinging that way etc...
Thanks, Pile Girl. No official story behind this. I had sketched a bunch rough "pig and banjo" pics in my sketchbook, and this concept was the silliest.
