Here's my second attempt at the Martians.

I'm maybe 90% happy with the cartooning.
I wanted more detail inside the ship, but found it too distracting.
I like science, but haven't read much on science fiction. I hope the gag isn't a cliche from the genre.

Constructive criticism: The sound effects in the first planel are hard to see since they are black text on dark blue background.
I like the aliens, their faces tell the whole story in this strip!
I think the cliches aren't a problem at all. Aliens are supposed to be green, and saucers are piloted using steering wheels. :-D
The gambling bit is a good thing to throw in to mix it up a bit, just like the rubber ducky consumer complaint.
