Flash 'Toon Screen Shot Preview

Here's a screen shot at the half way point of my cartoon effort.
It's getting easier each time I fight it work on it, as I've slowly learning what works and what doesn't.
I can never predict what parts will be easy or hard.
For example, I dreaded animating the phone cord to the point of leaving it out, but it wasn't as much trouble. But a scene where the purple guy gets shoved in the wall? It drove me crazy trying to get it right!

  2. I'm glad you're not rushing it, because it looks spectacular.

p.s. I love the red color above his head--it really makes the whole thing zing.

  3. Thanks, Stray, Linda,
The red thing over his head was originally bright green. Glad I switched it.

  4. EXCITING! You probably know this, but something like a phone cord you could draw with the pencil tool and use a shape tween without it getting all goofy the way brush line tweens often do.

  5. You guessed it, Sally!
I don't use the pencil tool much, but I used it for the phone cord.

I dislike typing the quasi-legible words too, but without them it's Spam City, Sorry!
