1. A dolphin walking on his tail = funny, 2. Something so weird would be a good challenge.
I'd planned this to be more complex- more characters, and a better background, but I was running out of time. Maybe I'll recycle him in a future 'toon.
okay, you are just flooring me. That is an absolutely darling walk. I don't think you realize how HARD it is to animate a walk with character in the movement. I would say you take to Flash like duck to water, but uh, you are the duck!
And more-- at Lake Balboa I see so many amusing walks, from ducks to challenging geese to the Russian crazy old disco dancer, and think, "if only I could catch that in an animated walk." I never can.
Thanks, Sally! I know what you mean about seeing a distinctive walk and wondering how to make a cartoon version of it. Flash is a cool toy! I still have a lot to learn (75% of my dolphin time was devoted to fixing goofs), but I'm having fun!
