This week's Drawing Board topic is "Yourself as an Action Figure."
When I was a kid, I preferred stuffed animals over dolls. I did have a Bat Girl and a Barbie. Barbie was boring. As empty as her vinyl head. Bat Girl was flexible and could grip things, so she could have adventures.
Wow! Who's your stylist? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've always liked the idea of a pencil that could create stuff. I guess it stems from that old cartoon called Simon that aired on Captain Kangaroo, where the kid would make stuff using his chalk.
Too late- I just got my hair cropped short. It's ridiculously hot in southern California. Too hot for thick bushy hair!
ReplyDeleteThe pen/pencilthat-makes-stuff has been around awhile- your example, Harold and the Purple Crayon(kid book), The Fleischer "Out of the Inkwell cartoons" etc. Even Spongebob Squarepants did had a "Magic Pencil" episode.
:)
